Reentry and recidivism affect our entire community! Thinking about the number of individuals who have been incarcerated in our community can feel overwhelming and not knowing what to do can feel helpless. This training will be focused on training you, your organization, business, or faith community on how to support people (and families) of those recently released from incarceration and those with criminal records.

Bev Sharp, Offender Workforce Development Specialist, West Virginia Council of Churches Reentry Initiatives/REACH, will lead this two-day training to empower our community to understand the barriers to successful reentry and how to be a collaborative community partner. We will be discussing how ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), Barriers to Successful Reentry, Current Legislation, and how we can all play a part in creating a stronger, healthier community of hope.

Your Eventbrite ticket acts as an RSVP and saves your spot.

If you have any questions please call, The Mother Jones Center of Resilient Community @ 304-238-9484
